South London singer-songwriter Lando Manning has revealed his new single, ‘Pray For The Priest’. He has shifted his sound away from the dream-folk of his 2024 debut EP, Brighter Days, and into a brooding, slowcore-inspired sound. At a crushingly slow tempo, his blend of psychedelic guitars and subtle keyboards support a vulnerable, yet assertive lead vocal. He describes it as “a song about isolation. I wrote it just after I'd moved back to London and was finding my feet again in the city where I'd grown up so the song explores themes of feeling lost in your own home.
